Warring Uncivilly (Updated)

Ah, good times. They’re debating over whether it’s a civil war now! NBC News has decided to call it a “civil war.” George Bush says No! It’s not a civil war! I heard Dick Cheney is planning a picnic with Rush Limbaugh in Baghdad! You get a prize if you spot the words “civil” and “war” together at Drudge or The Corner!

Here at The Booze Cabinet? Well, the crack staff running the operation here is neither blind nor willfully ignorant, so…let’s just be nice and say to those who dare speak the obvious: “So glad you could finally join us!”

UPDATE:

The Daily Show, as always, expands upon this “civil war” issue nicely.

UPDATE II:

The Corner and Drudge couldn’t hold out any longer, the wave rolled right over them. Particularly, this one, voiced by Colin Powell:

“I would call it a civil war,” Powell told a business forum in the United Arab Emirates. “I have been using it (civil war) because I like to face the reality,” added Powell.

Ouch! Reality has a well-known liberal bias, we all know, but that’s gotta hurt.
