Speaking of Ed Vedder, they made a film of that great book Into The Wild by Jon Krakauer and EV does the soundtrack, including a great song called “Hard Sun” with Corin Tucker of Sleater-Kinney on backing vocals. Very nice. Stereogum has the details.
